Terasa Viilor

Excellent food, impeccable service by Darius and his colleagues. Attention to details, cozy atmosphere and nice view. Plenty space for kids to run, away from cars and a little playground to give you peace for a tasty coffee. All in all this is and always was my favourite place to eat out.

A great experience all around. Great service, our server was Darius who was very attentive, quick and most helpful! He even took some great pics of us! I recommend it highly!

Probably the best food in Alba Iulia because I didn't care to try another restaurant after my first visit. Portions are absolutely huge and the prices are still fair (at least as of aug 2025). I fully recommend the crispy salad, the meat pie, their carbonara and their vegetable soup. Oh and they had hammocks nearby so I could rock myself while waiting for my order.

We stopped at Terasa Viitor for a late lunch during our trip. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, it was very quiet on the weekday we have been there. It has a big terrace where you can smoke and another one where you can't. There are also tables inside, where they probably perform live music sometimes as there is a small stage. The waiter was very nice and friendly even with the kids, the food was ready quite quickly. We have ordered: -Pizza margarita with extra sweetcorn -Pizza salami (of course the kids did not finish all of their pizza, but we have asked for a box and we took the rest away) -Porc tenderloin with creamy potatoes and mushrooms sauce - which was very nice, I really enjoyed the fact that in the mush potatoes had some ham inside (I think it was ham) and some brokkoli was really delicious. -Crispy chicken fillets with fries and garlic sauce (just like the KFC garlic sauce - quite light) -Mix Grill with grilled veggies - this had porc tenderloin, beef tenderloin and chicken breast, which came very hot still grilling and I have made a quick short video of it -Risotto with chicken breast and parmesan - this person who ordered it has intolerances and this seemed to be a good choice. However, we have all tasted it and I can confirm it was bitter, I believe because of the cheese. It had a taste like the cheese would have been old. So she only ate the chicken out of it and the rest was left in the plate. Such a waste unfortunately. -We ordered lemonades with different flavours and an alcoholic free cider. The toilets are inside, close to the stage and were clean. From the terrace you need to go up the stairs to get in the restaurant where the toilets are. There is plenty of parking around and a small playground area for the kids. Overall, we enjoyed the food and I would recommend Terasa Viilor to others! Enjoy your meal!

The best food we had in Romania! The pork knee/shank was so tender it slid off the bone with the smallest pressure and the beans were so rich and creamy it almost tasted like gnocchi. Wow! Great service. We also had other traditional dishes (see pictures) and they were all incredible. Like most places in Romania prepare to deal with smokers next to you and we couldn't escape the smoke. I know this is a cultural thing but it's annoying to me.
